Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy
This Policy explains how Valerimo handles copyright, trademark and intellectual-property reports relating to content published on the platform.
Respect creators, rights holders and lawful use
Valerimo respects copyright, trademarks and other intellectual- property rights. Users must publish only material they created, licensed, obtained permission to use or may lawfully share. Rights holders may submit a detailed report concerning specific content available on Valerimo.
Ownership
Creators retain the rights they lawfully hold in their work.
Permission
Publish only content you are authorised to use.
Precision
Reports must identify the exact disputed content.
Fair review
Reports and responses are reviewed according to context.
Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to content published, uploaded, displayed, shared or linked through Valerimo, including:
- posts, articles, guides and comments;
- photographs, illustrations and graphic designs;
- videos, animations, audio and music;
- software code, prompts, workflows and documents;
- logos, trademarks and company branding;
- screenshots and product demonstrations;
- datasets, databases and structured collections;
- AI-generated or AI-modified content.
This Policy does not determine ownership definitively. Complex ownership disputes may require agreement between the parties or a decision from a competent court.
User responsibility
Before publishing content, users must ensure that they created it, obtained permission, hold an appropriate licence or may otherwise use it lawfully.
Users must not:
- copy and republish an entire protected article without permission;
- upload photographs or illustrations taken from another site unlawfully;
- share paid courses, software or subscription content illegally;
- remove copyright notices, watermarks or attribution information;
- use logos or branding to suggest a false partnership;
- publish leaked or unlawfully obtained proprietary material;
- claim ownership of another person's work;
- use AI tools to conceal an unauthorised copy.
Content that may be protected
Intellectual-property protection may apply to original creative, editorial, technical or commercial material.
Examples may include:
- articles, books, training material and original descriptions;
- photographs, illustrations, logos and interface designs;
- videos, music, podcasts and sound recordings;
- software, source code and original documentation;
- databases benefiting from applicable protection;
- registered trademarks and distinctive business signs;
- original selection or arrangement of content.
Ideas, concepts, facts, methods and general information are not necessarily protected in the same way as their original expression.
Permission, licences and lawful use
Content may generally be published when:
- the user created it and retains the necessary rights;
- the rights holder gave permission;
- an applicable licence authorises the intended use;
- the content is genuinely in the public domain;
- the use falls within an applicable legal exception;
- only a limited quotation is used for a lawful purpose with proper attribution.
Users remain responsible for checking licence conditions, including attribution, non-commercial, share-alike or modification restrictions.
AI-generated and AI-modified content
Content generated or modified using artificial intelligence may still raise copyright, trademark, privacy, image-right or contractual issues.
Before publishing AI-assisted content, users should:
- review the AI provider's current licence and terms;
- check whether commercial use is authorised;
- verify that protected source material was not copied unlawfully;
- avoid unauthorised use of distinctive characters or branding;
- obtain permission before using a real person's likeness or voice;
- retain relevant information concerning creation and source material;
- clearly disclose AI involvement where appropriate.
Valerimo does not guarantee that an AI-generated output is unique, protectable, non-infringing or suitable for commercial use.

Assessment

Action
Content may be retained, restricted, corrected or removed.
Notification
Relevant parties may be informed of the outcome where appropriate.
Valerimo may temporarily restrict disputed content while reviewing a credible claim, particularly where continued availability may cause significant harm.
Valerimo may request additional evidence or decline to act where a report is too vague, unsupported, outside the scope of this Policy or manifestly abusive.
Notification to the publishing user
Where appropriate and legally possible, Valerimo may notify the user who published the disputed content.
The notice may include:
- identification of the affected content;
- the type of intellectual-property claim received;
- the action taken by Valerimo;
- the relevant platform rule or legal basis;
- available options for correction or response.
Certain information concerning the reporting party may be withheld where disclosure is unnecessary, legally restricted or creates a credible safety risk.
Response or counter-notice
A user who believes that content was restricted or removed in error may submit a reasoned response.
The response should include:
- the affected account and content;
- the relevant Valerimo URL;
- an explanation of why the action should be reconsidered;
- proof of ownership, permission or licence where relevant;
- information concerning an applicable legal exception;
- a good-faith declaration that the response is accurate.
Valerimo may maintain, modify or reverse the initial decision after reviewing the response.
Repeated infringement
Valerimo may take account-level action against users who repeatedly publish infringing content or deliberately evade previous removal decisions.
Depending on severity and repetition, action may include:
- a warning or educational notice;
- removal or restriction of specific content;
- temporary limits on publishing features;
- temporary account suspension;
- permanent account termination;
- preservation of relevant records where legally required.
Serious deliberate infringement may result in immediate action without a previous warning.
False, misleading or abusive reports
Users and rights holders must not knowingly submit false, misleading or retaliatory intellectual-property reports.
Abusive conduct may include:
- claiming rights that the reporter does not own or represent;
- reporting lawful criticism merely to suppress it;
- concealing a valid licence or permission;
- submitting fabricated evidence;
- coordinating mass reports to harass another user;
- repeatedly resubmitting a rejected claim without new evidence.
Trademarks, logos and brand identity
Valerimo may display third-party company names, product names, logos and screenshots for informational, editorial, comparison or identification purposes.
These marks remain the property of their respective owners. Their presence on Valerimo does not imply partnership, sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.
Users must not:
- create an account falsely presented as an official brand account;
- use a logo to suggest a non-existent partnership;
- sell counterfeit goods or services;
- alter branding in a deliberately deceptive manner;
- use a confusingly similar identity to commit fraud.
Valerimo intellectual property
The Valerimo name, logos, visual identity, custom interface, original graphics, editorial content, classifications, databases and specific developments are protected by applicable rights.
Except where authorised, users may not:
- copy or reproduce the Valerimo identity;
- create a misleadingly similar platform or brand;
- extract or republish substantial parts of the database;
- remove Valerimo attribution from protected material;
- sell, license or commercially exploit original Valerimo content;
- use Valerimo branding to imply authorisation or endorsement.
Normal linking, sharing through provided platform tools and limited quotation with clear attribution remain permitted where lawful.
